live one care subscription update RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I am new to Live Care. A few days ago, I had a message on Live Case pop up indicating I had 2 monthes left on my subscription.


    I signed in with my msn hotmail ID and found that msn version does not have a billing agreement with Microsoft .


    How do I get to a site that will help--or alternatively-where do i find subscription information on this application.

  • Open OneCare, click Help/About. The subscription ID is your account LiveID.


    If you got an error about the billing agreement, that means you signed in with an incorrect LiveID - that is, not the one for your account in OneCare.

    Go to http://billing.microsoft.com and sign in with your subscription LiveID. Select the OneCare subscription and click on the renew link.

    Choose the option to renew with a prepaid PIN or token which is the retail product key.

    Enter the 25 character key and proceed.

    It can take up to 24 hours for the subscription status to be updated in OneCare.
