  • Question

  • My computer today told me that the trial version of Microsoft Office 2003 was about to expire and also gave me the option of purchasing either the 2003 or the 2007 version.  The 2007 version was less expensive, so naturally that is the path I choose.
The product key that is on my order, however, when entered to begin the download states that it is not correct.  I've asked for confirmation (although I've printed it out from the actual order and made sure that the I used the same case as was written).

The email confirmation shows the exact same numbers.  What am I doing wrong?

  • You are putting the serial number in for Office 2003, right?

If so, you must download the 2007 version and use it. PKs for Office 2003 and 2007 are different.
