I was running Aero, which based on a couple other threads seems to be a common occurance. Aero fails, and now my copy of windows is "invalid". Error code i get when i activate is
[0x80070426]. Does anyone know how to fix it? I don't recall installing anything new, and my uninstall list doesn't hold anything new. Might it have been the recent windows update? I think i saw it updating a couple days ago, and that's when this first started. (I just read the message today when it started preventing me from alt-tabbing.)Edit: I checked my last update log, and it looks like it ran into some errors connecting/initializing, which led to a few more errors. Might this cause it?
