MS CRM SSRS report problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We have developed one report which has 3 joins and more than 70 columns. Report is getting executed as "query" in sql in 26 seconds for duration of month which returns 5576 records. However on CRM UI we do not see anything. There is no error log in event viewer. Other reports are working and getting rendered without any issue.

    Thanks!

    Appreciate your inputs.

  • You might want to use SQL Server Profiler to check if the Report is really fetching anything from SQL Server and/or if anything is reported there.

And if you use the RDL in BIDS/SSDT, is the Report Rendering there?

  • Addition in description.

Report has 70+ columns and 7 joins along with unions and if else condition.
Report Query executes in 26 seconds in SQL Management Studio.
Report is generated in BIDS almost after 6 minutes.
Report when executed from CRM nothing comes on screen. (Not even error).
Event Viewer shows "Thread was being aborted".

Yes, reducing columns can't be an option.
