Internet Hyperlinks Stopped Working RRS feed

    This is my home PC with Windows XP. On links I have created in Microsoft Excel 2003, I am getting the error message:

    "This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator.

    From any other source, e-mail, Skype, etc, the links simply don't work, no error message.

    I have tried system restore, to a few days ago, computer won't let me restore past 2 days either.

    Installed Windows messenger & uninstalled it. That seems to be when problem started.

    This is a forum to help users with problems regarding Visual C++ Express. You post doesn't appear to have anything to do with this subject.

    However, use your favourite search engine to search for: "This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator". You will get lots of hits and suggestions on how to fix this problem.
