Call Forwarding without a UC phone? RRS feed

  • Hi,

    One of my users has OC on the desk (set to no voice - TelephonyMode = 5) & uses a Snom 300 standalone OCS edition phone.

    There is no 'phone' options in the desk OC client - so he cannot set phone forwarding there.

    If you forward on the Snom phone - it redirects to internal numbers without a problem.  It will not redirect out of the building.

    If I delete the TelephonyMode registry setting - the phone option comes back in OC & he can set call forwarding using that (which is preferred anyway) - however - if he gets a phone call, it also 'rings' on the desk - and he has no phone atteched so I don't really want that happening...

    I know you can set call forwarding from within the web based OC client - but that's not a very slick solution either...

    Any suggestions welcome... (except suggesting just buy a CX700 - <grin>)
