Genuine Vista Oeprating system

    Question

  • I bought this Hp Pavilion computer brand new from Circuit City. I had to do a system recovery via the partitioned hard drive (F11). I successfully completed the recovery process and was going through the Vista update process via "Windows Update".  I received a notification that my software operating system may not be genuine.  Here is the copy of the validation process:
