vb6, sp6 Run-time error 429 ActiveX component can't create object RRS feed

    i recently uninstalled and reinstalled vb6, with sp 6.

    for what ever reason now, i cant access windows\syswow64\scrrun.dll upon trying to execute following code:

    Set obj = New Scripting.FileSystemObject

    tried registering both system32 and syswow64 .dll's, but no help?
