We have completed CRM 4.0 project for customer. Also performed a lot of customization , Data import from thier old data base, installing CRM connecrcor , Installing Navision and intergrating CRM and Navision using the CRM connector.
Because of a liceces issue and big misunderstanding (don't ask what the issue is) any ways we have to redo the whole thing again. Re-install CRM , CRM connector ..., since we have lots of customization , data and also the CRM connector related with the GUID
... we want to restore back the database as it was with affecting anything. how would you recommend I do it ?
I read somewhere to re-install CRM with dummy organization name and then use the Deployment manager to import the previous organization database with the real name. but this is going to create 2 organization in the database .... also in the MSCRM_CONFIG
the tables are going to have a record for both entry ... our customers ask toooooo many question , they are going to think that it is a messy job ...
Please give me any suggestion you may have or any link ...
