Leads View RRS feed

  • Question

  • For some of our leads we populate the ParentAccountId (it shows up as Parent Account on the CRM form).

We want a view of all lead where the parent account owner is current user?

I cant make the advanced view to filter related accounts? - always comes up empty

    Is there a trick somewhere?

  • Hi Haroon,

Just tested your requirement using the Lead entity and the OOB N:1 Parent Account for Lead and it seemed to work fine in a view.

Here is the simple filter for the view.

  • Hi Eric,

I must be missing something.  In your example is the owner filter on the lead or account?.

In our environment leads are owner is not important and we want to ignore it

We want to get all leads that have parent account and parents account owner is current user

  • Hi Haroon,

In my example, the owner filter is for the Account, not the lead. When you are selecting the attributes from the list, make sure you scroll down pass all the lead attributes then you will start to see the relationship entities, in that list you should see "Parent Account for Lead", select that then the owner attribute will apply to the Account.
