  • Question

  • Can you please tell me how to overcome my recent difficulty archiving photos from my digital image library in the Digital Image Suite 10 programme? (purchased in 2005)

The burn starts, then stops and I get a message saying that there is an error. I have checked all the tips in the help menu and none of these have resolved the issue. I have asked BT online technical help, and they cannot resolve it. I have used about a dozen new CDs trying to archive from the digital image programme.

I can download photos onto CD by other means, going  my computer and searching for the photos and burning from there, or using Ashampoo burning studio 5.

I haven't archived for quite a while and I am worried that the digital library is becoming over loaded through not using it's archiving process. When I have used this in the past, the photos I have archived have shown in the folder pane in removable media view, which I presumed meant space was freed up in the library. Is this correct?

Another member of the family has also started experiencing this problem recently on their computer, having previously used it successfully. Has anyone else had this problem?

I really like using the digital library. It has been a wonderful product until now and wish to be able to continue using it trouble free, so please can someone advise what I can do to successfully archive from the digital library?

  • Hi

Thank you for all the information links, but most of the solutions I have already seen and do not address my particular problem.

It seems this is an old product and I am being invited to update to a new way of storing my digital photos. (n.b. None of what I've seen says what price without clicking to"buy".)

Also, it seems a big step to change to Vista which it seems would give me another way of processing my pictures, but how do I try before buying....and can I afford it? I think not, and I actually like the product I have.

    Thank you for replying.
