MSCRM Asynch Service RRS feed

    All

I've installed MS CRM 4.0 Professional on a Dell 4 cpu, 4Gb machine running Small Business Server 2003 R2 with SQL Server 2005.

Recently the performance of this server has slowed down almost to the point of it being unusable and I've carried out some investigation into this and found that Sql Server is using some 1.7+ Gb of RAM.  I've stopped the various CRM services and restarted SQL until I identified that the MS CRM Asynch server service was the culprit - when I stopped it and restarted SLQ, SQLs memory usage dropped to about 170Mb and when the MS CRM Asynch server service was restarted it once again consumed the 1.7+ Gb.

I have deleted a number of the duplicate data detection jobs and there are only some very limited workflows - does this seem like excessive memory usage by SQL to anyone else?   Any other things I can do to lower the SQL memory?

    Cheers
