You have key frames for videos, which is a great tool to select what is to be seen in the stitched panorama.
I would like to have the same ability for photos too.
I take a series of overlaping photos with a person moving in the scenery, with the person in the middle of each separate photo. When stitched to a panorama, the stitching algorithm usually misses several of the persons. So I do not get the result that I wanted:
a panorama with several sequential instances of the person walking thru the panoramic landscape.
When the person is moving slowly, it is more practical to take photos than a video. And it also saves storage.
What is needed here is exactly the same as with videos: possibility to highlite key frames (key areas) in different photos, to be included in the stitched panorama.
