Shared records: how to identify?

Question
-
Hello Scott
You mentioned providing a view of 'All' records. I'm assuming this would show all of the records, not just any owned by or shared to the user. How does the user identify which records have been shared out to them?
Would be most grateful for any assistance in this!

hi Scott,
i dont think there is a out of box way to find out using Advanced search all shared records. (ms crm 4.0)
The only thing different about shared records is the user who have access to the shared records is not the owner
May be you can write a custom page to retreive the records where owner is not the user.
hope this helps

No I'm afraid not. What I am hoping to find out is how a user becomes aware of when someone else shares a record with them?
