ASP Using Login Password as Signature Verifier RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have an ASP site that I created using Visual Studio.  It uses the standard Account management system of email and password to log into the system.  When the user is filling in a form and needs to sign the form we would like the user to enter in the password to verify that they are the person saving the work.  I can see how the Login.aspx.cs file logs in the user via the ApplicationSignInManager PasswordSignIn() function.  I would like to use that same password to check when the user is signing on a form.  I have not been able to discover how to check the password against the default system and I am trying to avoid creating a second hashed code for when the user signs.  Any help is appreciated.
