Hi,
This is a known issue and has been reported in several threads. The forums team has responded in a few of them (I can't find one at the moment, sorry) saying that they're working on this issue. I'm not sure what the timeframe for this fix is though.

Hello Mike,
Thanks for your response. I have also noticed same and found similar threads. Will wait till MS confirms that.
Good thing is, i have tried again yesterday and i was able to unpropose some of the posts so it means problem is not with my account.

Hemendra,
You are correct this is a workaround ,if you try couple of time you will succeed but definately not a good way and this should be fixed.I myself faced this issue and trying multiple times worked for me

We added a few fixes yesterday to address these issues.
Can you confirm whether or not you are still having issues?

Hello Again,
I am able to unpropose and unmark answer smoothly but facing new problem since then. Now i am not able to merge threads. So i still think either something is still missing or need to upgrade.

It seems that we are still seeing a number of cases of this issue. We currently do not have any update but we are still investigating what the root cause to this issue is.
