Evaluation/trial copy warning expiration at 30 days, not 120 days RRS feed

    Hello-

    I installed a trial copy of WHS a few weeks ago.  All the Microsoft web pages said the trial was 120 days.  However, the server has been warning me that it is going to expire in a few days.  The expiration appears to be 30 days.

    I haven't had a chance to evaluate the software (I thought I had four months and have been working other projects instead).  Is there any way to extend the expiration?

    You need to activate the software. If you don't, you have the 30 days you've noted. This is a common requirement for just about all Microsoft operating systems.
    I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
