  • If you use Server-Side Synchronisation with CRM 2013 then Appointments created in CRM are synched to Exchange (for the users with SSS as their synch option, rather than Outlook) and invitations are sent out to the recipients.

    Hope this helps.

  • Thanks Adam. Its there a way to only sync appointments created for users and not send the appointment to the contact or account?

In other words, its there a way to sync appointments only for inside de company (users systems)

    Thanks again

  • You could configure Appointments, Tasks, and Contacts to synch using Outlook, rather than SSS, for most/all users. You could still use SSS for email is you want to.

    Hope this helps.

  • Yes, but you would often want to do that anyway to synch all the things that automatic rules cannot account for, such as emails received that a user wants to track (that may not be included in your automatic rules), and appointments or contacts created in Outlook to start with.

    Hope this helps.
