My user name is mijcar. However, with all the garbage about using Live to establish an email link for using Technet, I have somehow lost that user name. I am not allowed to use it with this account.
But more incredulous is terms of programming-dysfunction is that when I asked for Mijcar, I was not provided a method for linking that user name to this current account. I was told the name was not available, but should have been given a way of accessing it.
The original link for "mijcar" was to a no longer existent hotmail account -- another example of a huge programming incompetency, a site wherein millions of perfectly good email addresses have been lost and will remain infinitely inaccessible, even to the original user. Only Microsoft ...
For now, I really would like to get back my original user name - no one else is using it and it shouldn't go to waste. Is there any way to launch a "forgot my email address" from a user name, instead of vice-versa?
