PS2003 - User can also be a Resource RRS feed

    I am just brushing up on a training session for a client using PS2003.  Am I correct in saying that If I have a user that is also a Resource then I have to create them sepearetly (as a User and a Resource) ie there is no PS2003 feature to create the User and then tick "also make it a resource?" ie as in PS2007/2010 ?

    Correcto.  The user is created using Active Directory or by a FBA (Form Bases Authentication) process.  Then you create a resource in Enterprise Resource Pool and provide the username as the resource.

    If you create the resource in the Enterprise Resource Pool and supply a Windows user account for that resource, then the system automatically creates the user account for that resource.  I would never use your approach of creating the user account first, as it doubles the amount of work required.  Hope this additional bit helps.
