Unable to validate SQL Server Reporting Services Report Server installation

Question
-
Im trying to install the SRSS connector on Small Business Server 2005 and it fails during the environmental check.
Unable to validate SQL Server Reporting Services Report Server installation. Please check that it is correctly installed on the local machine.
I have referenced KB article 947060 but none of the causes in the article are applicable to my situation. I can access the sql server report site through the browswer without any problems.
Any help would me much appreciated.
Thanks
Chris

Unless there is something odd going on in your environment, the only other thing I can suggest is to ensure the user who is installing CRM has full rights to the SQL server.

Hi Chris
Can you open your report configuration manager and ensure everything is configured properly. Also ensure the services login are appropriate and won't be restricted due to security. Another thing you can check is the Deployment Manager to ensure the correct SQL server is enabled. If none of that helps, check the Application log on the CRM server to see what the error is.

Hi,
First of all make sure you have installed the IIS. Once IIS is installed, you can install the Reporting Services again.
Please see the below post to configure the Reporting Services:

Thanks for the responses but the SQL Server reporting services is working correctly on the SBS server. However, I still receive the error during the environment checks for the SRSS connector.
IIS is functioning correctly
