Delegation as an Administrator

Question
-
Hi brains trust,
I'm sure this is a simple solution, but I cant figure it out. I'm an administrator for Project Online, and previously, when acting as a delegate I could ONLY see the delegates projects in the project centre. For the past 2 weeks or so, when I act as someone delegate, I still see ALL projects in the project centre. I'm presuming it's not distinguishing between my admin rights, and the delegate I want to act as.
I know the user doesn't have access to all projects - I've 100% confirmed with a number of users.
Any ideas? I don't believe I've changed any settings, but something has definitely changed.
Kind regards.

Hi Pete,
If you are a site collection admin or tenant global admin you will see all projects. See the post from Brian below:

Hi,
are you referring to Project Online? There, I do see the same. Or are you using On Prem and applied some update recently? If the latter, please let me know the version and recently applied patch level.
If it is for Project Online, I suggest to open a support call. I will do the same next weekend.
For On Prem, I would like to try to reproduce first.
Regards

Hi Barbara,
Sorry, I've been off-line for the past few weeks. I am talking about Project Online, not on prem. Has something changed whereby you no longer see just your delegates projects? Is that what you mean by you "seeing the same"?I used to only see my delegates projects when I act as them, but now I see all.
I've got a test account (non-admin rights) and when I set up their delegates and log in under the test account, I only see the delegates projects (as it previously used to be for my normal account), so I am assuming it's something to do with my admin rights? But I'm sure nothing has changed recently.
Many thanks, and apologies for the delayed reply!
Pete

Hi Paul,
thanks to make me aware of Brian's post. It is exactly describing me observation: until some weeks ago, in a delegation session I was restricted to projects and resources theperson I was acting for was allowed to see. And this was just changed at some point - now I know why and can understand Microsoft's reason for this change.

Thanks Paul.
It's good to know I'm not going crazy as I was certain that it functioned the other way and then just suddenly switched so I could see everything!
We have a test account, so will just continue to use that as the delegation. Slightly annoying to have to log back out and in, but ok now that I know what's required.
