    I went to the page to mark my MCSA exam, I saw the information that You can substitute  Exam 346: Managing Identities and Requirements Office 365, Exam 409: Server Virtualization with Windows Server Hyper-V and System Center or Exam 462: Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Databases, for exam 412. I want to know "if i replace the exam 70 -412 to 74-409" i receive both MCSA certification and the SPECIALIST MICROSOFT ????

  • You are right. If you pass 74-409, you will get Microsoft Certified Specialist. You still need 70-410 and 70-411 to get MCSA. 74-409 can only be replacement for 70-412.

  • As soon as you pass exam 409 you immediately get the "Microsoft Specialist: Server Virtualization with Windows Server Hyper-V and System Center" certification, regardless of whether you also achieve the MCSA certification or not.
