    How do you know what processes you can turn off ?...I have 60 running now and this is a new computer running Vista Thanks to anyone that can help

  • It 's difficult to say without knowing what programs are installed on your computer. What I can say from the Vista computers I own and the ones I have seen, 50-65 background processes seems to be the average range.
