Changing email I get forum notices at RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have an ...@live address I've logged in with all along but I also have another where emails alerting me of forum posts came. For all I've read here and all the menus I've gone through on account.microsoft I'm still not sure if I've successfully changed that. So this post is a test. It's also one more in a long history (judging by the posts here) of how good MS is at making things difficult and confusing.

  • I'm responding to myself to see where the alert comes.

  • You can use the Sandbox forums for testing. I assume alerts would work the same way there.

  • Dave, you're right. I went to my name in the upper right, went to "edit Profile" couldn't find anything. It never occurred to me there would be a whole other set of settings not in the Edit Profile section.
