Where did the "Find" window go?

  There used to be a window on the left side of the screen where I could enter street address and zipcode on one line to find a location. How do I get this "find" window back as a default setting? Although I can still enter "Control/F . . . Place/Data" to begin an equivalent search function, I would like the former window again. I have no idea what made it disappear. Any suggestions?
