Have you seen my sound card by any chance?

  I had windows xp on my computer, however it was running slow. I wanted to just totally re format my hard drive. I re formatted it alright. After I re installed xp pro on my E-machines computer, I lost all my sound and  sound cards. What do I do to get back my sound? If you can help me in anyway, i would so appriciate it.
