Genuine Windows 7 Ultimate Activation Failed after reinstallation - BLOCKED RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there -

My Computer was upgraded to Windows 10 recently - and I had no issues in operation apart from some anomalies with ASIO devices. They would randomly disconnect and reconnect - and the devices refused to operate as intended. I could not resolve the problems within the first month after various attempts, and therefore decided to reinstall my windows disc for Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (genuine holographic purchase disc and label from MS STORE)

The installation was fine, until activation where i received a message saying my personal key is blocked 0xc004c003

I have only ever installed this disc on a single one of my pc's at once, as i have 3 x genuine windows products (WIN 7 on a samsun laptop, WIN 8.1, and WINDOWS VISTA 64), which are all now upgraded to Windows 10. This pc is the only on that had issues upgrading so I desperately need to get WIN 7 x64 back on to continue using my music software.

I have tried the automated activation phone lines and microsoft support but i cant seem to get this sorted and have run out of options. Can i not provide proof via the original disc and product label somehow? Disappointed that I am stuck like this.

  • To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool

(download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )

     Once saved, run the tool.

Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.

To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.x

      - in your own thread, please

Please also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!
