How to remove add-ins in the Available Add-ins "+ Available" tab RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello Group,

I have a HP 490EX and it has the "McAfee" add in in the "Available" tab. In the Home Network Health dialog, it shows that the "McAfee Total.." is ready to install. I don't want that add-in and I would like to delete from the "Available" tab of the "Available Add-ins" dialog. How would I begin to to that?

    TIA!

  • Uninstall the add-in (if it's installed in the console), delete the add-in .msi file from \\server\Software\Add-Ins, then restart the Console.
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)

  • Thanks for the reply and your expertise! That work like a charm. I had to delete the .msi file.
