Campaign Management Progression Tracking RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello World!

Quick question regarding Campaign Management. If I have a campaign to call a number of Contacts that qualify a dynamic marketing list, How can I track the progression of that campaign? If there are 100 contacts in the marketing list, is there a way to see that 45 have been reached out to and 55 havent? Just want to find a way to measure the success of a campaign, or track the completion of it. Any help is appreciated!

    Thanks!

  • Hi Pasha,

First of all, you need to create and distribute a campaign activity - in your case using the 'Phone' channel. Fundamental to how a campaign's success is measured is the creation of campaign response activities. If you create the phone calls via the campaign activity, you will see that the icon within the 'Convert Activity' ribbon area 'Promote to response' is enabled on the 100 phone call activities you previously created.

If your users press this when marking a phone call as 'contacted', they will create a campaign response and this will feed through to the campaign performance report (SRS report available from the reports area and reports button in the campaing form).

For further information on campaigns, take a look at the help file within the crm application.

  • Rob,

Sorry to re-kindle this old thread.

The campaign performance does not filter responses by campaign activity.

We have an email campaign that has 5 activities (each mailing a regional marketing list).

We need to be able to track the emails sent and response numbers per region.

Do you know a way of acheiving this?

Any help would be massively appreciated.

    Pete
