question regarding deleting folders...

Question
-
The FAQ has what appears to be contradictory statements about deleting folders:
- Deleting a folder from a computer deletes it from that computer only. The folder and its files will remain on your Live Desktop, on other computers in your mesh, and on members' computers, giving you multiple ways to access the folder and its files again.
- Deleting a subfolder deletes it everywhere—from your computer, from other computers in your mesh, from any members' computers, and from your Live Desktop.
Behavior 1 makes sense to me. Behavior 2 scares the heck out of me. Can someone clarify the actual behavior?
thanks in advance,

It is exactly as described.
If you delete a blue colored Live Mesh folder from a PC via Windows Explorer, you have effectively chosen to stop synchronizing with that PC for that folder. It isn't the right way to do it, but that's the result.
If you delete a file or sub-folder within a Live Mesh folder on any PC or the Live Desktop, since Live Mesh is a Sync program, it will cause this action to replicate throughout the Mesh for any device that is set to sync that folder with the Mesh.

Ok, your explanation is very clear. I wasn't clear on the distinction being made between folder and subfolder, since a subfolder is by definition a folder (at least in Windows). In this context, folder = "blue colored Live Mesh folder" - that's very easy to understand.
thanks!
