    Annual Maintenance Notice
    Hello BEHNIA,

Our records show your Microsoft Certification ID (MC ID) is :######

To ensure you can continue to access the MCP member site and receive program notifications, you need to use the Windows Live ID that is associated with your MC ID at least once a year. If this ID is not used during a 12-month period, you will need to request a new access code to visit the MCP member site.

  • Hi,

AFAIK a windows live account gets deleted if you do not use it for 360 days.

So all that is required is to log on with your account to a microsoft site using that account (e.g. the MCP Member site, the forums, ...)

If you started this thread with the windows live account that is also associated with your MC ID, then everything should be ok already. But to be 100% sure, you could log on to http://mcp.microsoft.com once. (But just at the moment I am unable to connect to that server - maybe they do some maintanence or have a problem right now)

I was unable to find an official page with this 360 days - I just saw it in connection with windows live hotmail e.g. http://email.about.com/od/windowslivehotmailtips/qt/Know_When_Your_Windows_Live_Hotmail_Account_Becomes_Inactive.htm

    With kind regards,

    Konrad

  • I got this notice as well and I have been logging into the Microsoft Certification site atleast monthly.

I think it was intended to be a blanket reminder to everyone - whether or not they have logged into the MCP Certification site within the last year.

    Best wishes, Davin Mickelson
