Unable to download Windows IoT Core Insider Preview RRS feed

  • Question

  • Once you've signed up for the Windows Insider program, come back here to download
We can’t wait to get your input on Windows!

I have already signed up for the Windows  Insider program, but after I returned back to click the download nothing happened

What should I do to get this work ?

  • It's a problem with the site & cookies, first go to www.microsoft.com and login using your account. Then you should be able to download the Insider Preview just fine.

If you look at the address bar while following one of the download links, it quickly visits microsoft.com to check your account and if you are not logged in there, it bounces you back.

  • Hello DuckyKao,

THis does not seem to be a Windows IoT issue but is an Windows Insider issue.  Those are handled in the Insiders forum at http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/forum.

I am sorry but I can not move your issue there so you will need to re-post at that site.   I suggest you start with a search to see if anyone else has received your error: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/search/search?SearchTerm=Unable+to+download&IsSuggestedTerm=false&tab=&CurrentScope.ForumName=insider&CurrentScope.Filter=&ContentTypeScope=#/insider///1

  • Hi Defs,

Please provide full steps on what you did and where it failed.  My suspicion is that you are not logged into Windows Insiders so the request from within the tool fails.

    Sincerely,

  • Thx for reply. I found way how to download. If I am signed in , I will get error, but if I sign out, I will be able to download without any trouble from this page: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windowsiot?lc=1033

Error is happening at the first selection where I should select Build version.

  • Hi,

I have signed up for insider preview and am not able to download the image. The dowload page keeps telling me to sign up, when I click sign up it shows that I already have signed up. Please advise on how I get around this?

    Thanks,

    Garreth

  • Hi,

You should be able to sign up at:

    https://developer.microsoft.com/engagement/insiderprogram

    That should then work.

  • Hello,

After registering to the Windows Insider Program I am still unable to download the Windows 10 IOT Core Preview release for Raspberry PI 3.

I know some people had the same issue recently. Is it possible for anyone to restore the link to work on the official Microsoft download page???

    Thank you!

  • Dear friend,

I suggest that you follow the instructions that cyberh0me post here.

I'm downloading the new 14376 OS now without any problem.

    Good luck!

  • Hello,

It is not possible for me to download Windows 10 IoT for the Raspberry Pi 3.

I am already an insider. Here https://developer.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/iot/win10/GetStarted/rpi3/sdcard/insider/getstartedstep2 I click on "Get Windows 10 IoT Core Insider Preview", I get redirected here https://auth.windowsondevices.com/InsiderSignupRedirect?retryUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fauth.windowsondevices.com%2F, where I click on "Sign up as an Insider" and I am greeted with "Welcome back, Insider". I go back to the previous page to click on "here to download" but the page just reloads and there is nothing to download.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!
