I have a customer that is interested in identifying a small handful of ways in which to track Capital Project separate from other Projects. Currently, they are simply identifying them by standard naming convention (i.e. 'CAR...' etc.). Since their ultimate
goal is to cost-analyze these project types as a whole, this method seems a bit fluffy to me in that a simple typo could throw the entire foundation askew.
I believe some type of custom field with a 'Capital Project' template would be the best bet, thereby providing convenient identification through a reporting solution, but was curious if anyone had any other ideas.
