  • When you begin the restore try selecting "Restore backups from another computer".

  • Hi Jim,

Thank you for your reply.  Yes, I did use that application "Restore backups from another computer", however, I was attempting to force OneCare to recognize the backup so I could add newer files to the backup.  I have a feeling the program won't allow me to use the backup I've already created to be added to.  (It has in the past.)

I still appreciate that you pointed out the way to use the backup for restoring deleted files though.

    Thanks again,

  • Hello Paul, usually if you can no longer add to your original full backup it is because One Care has been reinstalled or your backup plan has been re-configured. If you have not done either of these perhaps support can provide an answer. How to reach support - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2421771&SiteID=2
