crm 2013 sp1 exchange 2013 sp1 cu5 mails tracked by crm bounced SPF RRS feed

  • Hello,

    when sending an email without being tracked by crm the mail gets received normal. When sending a tracked mail the mail is bounced by SPF policy. Iam not sure if I am posting this in the correct forum, but just good to know if others having this issue also or may someone knows how to workaround.

    are you using tracking token?

    we have received bounce because of them from external email gateways.

    mail trakced in outlook and send via outlook client, no router or mailsync. it gets a crm number if you mean that token?

    and yes from external we are receiving the bounce

  • ok, there is a number that crm places at the end of the subject.

    please check the subject and see if you have last string as CRM:00000somenumber.

  • It this you need to configure the firewall to allow emails from this server.

    thanks for your suggestion, but this occuring only when set regarding is activated, a normal email goes trough.

  • mail tracking using crm token is the cause if the issue. Please try to use smart matching and uncheck the tracking token option.

    please bear in mind that token give you a better results when your customer reply to your email.

    only when set regarding, a email activity will be created in CRM and tracking token added.

    We had before also token and smart matching activated in crm2011. there mials were not rejected in any case?
