    To All,

This software is the most @#$%^!-up software that I have ever had the dsipleasure to experience.  First, my subscription is cancelled well before its due date.  Second, on-line support provides no help.  Lastly, no support is available by phone although Microsoft claims a 24/7 phone support system exists.  Microsoft get your act together!!!!!  Human interaction is required to solve problems.  That means providing a phone service.  Live OneCare service is a a joke!!!!  If anyone has found this phone number, please advise

  • To POAL,

I am not exactly sure why you had so much trouble finding the number. I found the people willing to fix my problem and it wasn't difficult explaining.  Although I used up a lot of support time I was able to fix my problem after observing the techs pointing and clicking around my equipment.  This took a couple week until they discovered the fix would be out with the latest release due Dec. 25.  Just a suggestion, look at the status of OneCare in the Control Panel Administrative Tools under Services.  This may help you.  Hope you  get good results with support.

  • Actually, 24x7 support is available, but availability of phone and chat support is available differently depending on the origin region. I don't like the support flow currently in place, but it works.

How to reach support (FAQ) - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2421771&SiteID=2

You mention that your account was canceled. Did you verify your account status at http://billing.microsoft.com and also confirm your system date and time? If the PC date is wrong, OneCare will incorrectly report your subscription status.
