The pano saved in ICE is not the same type as the same photo exported to Synth. RRS feed

  • Win7 64bit. ICE version 64bit

Image: Lily Lake, user RGB34 Synth

At least the Synth version does not seem to be the same as the one I saved in ICE, which was a rectangle.

How do I get the Synth version to be the same as the ICE one?

Also, should I edit photos before using ICE? Elsewhere in other programs they usually say not to.

  • Photosynth treats panoramas as interactive immersive experiences (similar to Google Streetview) instead of as a flat image. If you want to share as a flat image Facebook, OneDrive or other image sharing sites are more appropriate.

I only edit the photos beforehand if there is a very large difference in exposure, otherwise ICE should be able to compensate for minor differences.
