Cannot login - User name or password incorrect ... error

Question
-
Hi,
I had installed CRM version 4 about a month ago and was able to login via local host and via the web from remote location withotu a problem. However, now I cannot login using the AD administrator login, not the 2 users I created.
I also checked on the SQL server and all the Security setting for Users are at the default i.e. using AD users.
I am not sure if I registered the product that the time but have done it today just in case this is the issue.
But I cannot still login using all the accounts / passwords I know of.
Can someone help? I do not want to reinstall if I don't have to.
Thanks in advance.

If you enable tracing (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/907490 ) you should get some more useful information. One possiblility is if you've got AD replication problems, as CRM checks whether the user is a member of the AD group UserGroup

Thanks for the replies. Since I did not get any replies in the 1st 24 hours and some 32 views after positing I went ahead and reinstalled as all of my troubleshooting did not result in any success. Once I re-installed, everything worked as it should.
Thanks again for the replies.
