    Does immediate preemption cancel a lower priority running job completely, or does it re-queue the lower priority job after it cancels?

    Hi Eli.

    the lower priority job will be cancelled then re-queued automatically if the job is rerunnable. If the job is not rerunnable, it won't be requeued
