Exception During Preview: Illegal Characters in Path

  Using SyncTou 2.1.100.0.  I recently had to reinstall windows server 2003 on my laptop on the C:\ partition.  I re-downloaded Synctoy and created the folder pairs. When I do a preview, I get "Exceptioin During Preview:  Illegal Characters in Path".   I then closed out of SyncToy 2.0 and have removed all the SyncToy_<alphanumeric characters>.dat files from the source and destination drives.   I still get this error.  Any logs that can be generated to see what it is actually complaining about?  Any idea what this error is?  I was not getting tis error prior to rebuilding the laptop.
