How can I ask a question in the correct forum when the forum does not appar in my list? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I would like to ask a question in the SQL forum but everytime I "Ask a question", the SQL forum is not in my list.  I have tried asking the question direct from my list but it has not made a difference.

  • Thanks for this.  It isexactly what I need.

Is there a reason why I couldn't see it originally or should I just delete my original link and use this one instead?

  • I think I get it now.  Even though I can see all forums in my list, it doesn't mean I have access to each forum from my current location.  I still have to enter the desired forum before posting.

It seems misleading at first but I suppose it makes sense.
