Hyperlapse crashes upon trying to load any video

Question
-
The app fires up fine, but it crashes as soon as I try and load any type of video: wmv, mp4, mpeg, etc. I tried turning hardware acceleration to partial and off, but it made no difference. Win764 enterprise, 24gb ram, plenty of CPU... APPCRASH data below, thanks!!!

I am seeing the same behavior on my Windows 7 Professional. I've tried the different settings of Hardware Acceleration, changed the Temporary file location to a different partition and installed the latest GPU drivers (AMD Radeon 6950). Nothing worked.
