Cannot connect to remote desktop RRS feed

    I have been trying to connect to my home desktop from my work PC and laptop. I have LiveMesh v 0.9.3103.14 installed on all computers. Synchronising folders works fine between all of these. However, when I want to connect to any of the devices from my work computer it doesn't work. For a time I was able to connect to my laptop, but now I just get error code 00000197,10.

    Has anybody else had this problem?

    This sounds like there's a proxy somewhere that's causing the problem. Live Mesh doesn't support that network configuration yet, although there's a large clamor for it to be supported. If you search this forum for "proxy", I think you'll find lots of similar messages.

    Thanks for that - sure enough when I did a search loads of people seem to have this problem. I can see the popularity of Live Mesh being massive if proxy servers were supported. My office has 200+ PC users and if this feature was implemented we would want to install Mesh on all computers. Please Microsoft make my dream come true - this could really revolutionise how people use their PCs!
