My product key is "blocked"

Question
-
I purchased Windows 7 from my college bookshop, Art Institute of Atlanta, in 2009.
I had to reformat my disc so I reinstalled it from the disc I had.
It won't let me activate my windows. It says "The activation server determined that the specified product key has been blocked."
So I downloaded the tool in the sticky and this is what my diagnostic thing says:

The Key in use here is the Default Key for Windows 7 Professional - which cannot be activated
For what version of Windows is the computer licensed, according to the COA sticker (if any) on the case?
What type of license did you purchase? the proper Key is inside the case of the package which you bought - use the Change Product Key option at the bottom of the System properties page to change the Key to your proper one, and then activate.

The product key in use is the default key windows uses when no key is entered during installation and can not be activated.
you will have to change your product key to the one on your proof of license label or if a download in your email.
click start, type slui 3, press enter
follow the directions.
