What do these bcdedit commands do? RRS feed

  • Recently I saw a video using these commands to fix a game that won't launch and I'm curious as to what these commands do

    bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING OFF
    bcdedit -set NOINTEGRITYCHECKS OFF

    TESTSIGNING OFF would allow the use of unsigned drivers.  These options would be appropriate really only if you're needing to install a Beta driver, presumably for a graphics card.
