    Hello silverfoxcan.

    I suggest you to ask this question in the Microsoft Community Forums for Windows at http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp.
    Anyway, is this a recent issue? Did you perform any kind of action that made the system's audio device not work fine? Did you install the audio drivers after downloading them from the laptop manufacturer's web site?
