Hello All,
We are trying to do Posture on windows machines using ISE and Anyconnect ISE Posture Module with domain user login. But the posture is getting stuck at 10%.
While troubleshooting, we oberved below event in event viewer on windows endpoints.
The description for Event ID 259 from source aciseposture cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
Function: open_logfile
Thread Id: 0x47B0
File: hs_log.c
Line: 1047
Level: error
Could not open the log file: The system cannot find the path specified. Also, When we login with local user or Admin user, the posture scan gets completed and the endpoint gets full access.

I think only the provider will know about the missing registrations or components. These ones might help.

Hi,
I have observed this event 259 in event viewer and also I have opened a TAC with cisco for same. But just want to confirm from MS if there is any solution for this event. As from Cisco side everything seems to be working fine. This issue is observed on some of the windows 7 & 10 endpoints.
Regards,
Sadashiv
