Remove From My Forums

The Project Web App Site path is invalid. Correct path and try again.

I removed the first PWA site created as it was in the default content database and i want it in its own content database before it goes into production. However, now when i try to create a new PWA site i get The Project Web App Site path is invalid. Correct path and try again. I’m running Project Server 2010 on SharePoint 2010. I have only one web application.

Any advice is appreciated

Hello,

Driving me insane, I currently am running a server farm with Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise/SQL Server R2 Enterprise and Sharepoint server 2010 and Project server 2010.

Upon Installation I attempted to create a PWA site, I created a content database, then I attempted to create

a PWA site, upon completion I received a Access Denied. I used other user accounts and still received Access Denied. I then deleted the content databases from Central Administration, then I deleted the content databases from SQL. Now after creating a content database, I attempt to create a pwa site I receive

The Project Web App Site path is invalid

I have read several threads but none of these threads give a specific point and click # of steps on how to eliminate this. Could you please help me, I am currently attempting to install this at my job.
