I lost my product key and where can I find it back? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

When I bought Microsoft Live Onecare several months ago, I didn't use it at that time because my Norton haven't expired. Now I want to install it but unfortunately I can not find my product key. I threw away the case and the product key was on it. Now I only have the CD-ROM. Where can find the key? Thanks a lot.

  • Jerry, the bad news is that throwing out the key means that you are now unable to activate a subscription. There is no way to recover it. Your best bet at this point will be to look for an online deal for a cheap copy of OneCare if you still wish to subscribe. You can install OneCare, if you have not already done so, and use it for free for 90 days, but after that you will need to subscribe by purchasing it again.

  • Thanks, Stephen. It's bad to get this news and I have to buy it again or renew my Norton.
